Loving Literacy is synonymous with a loving place for students to learn and grow.  I am a mother of 4 children.  Each of my children started being enriched at Loving Literacy  from the elementary school years in multiple subjects with emphasis in reading and writing. They were not only enriched but also nurtured during the process to grow and stretch their thinking.  Loving Literacy teachers are skilled in childhood development and education, allowing each student to  flourish at their own rate and be challenged just right.  This helped my children thrive and it fed their thirst for knowledge.  I highly recommend Loving Literacy as a place for students to be enriched and as  a support system for parents who want their children to reach their potential.

“Loving Literacy, Cathy Jones, and her entire staff are the finest collection of educators now dedicated to tutoring that I have ever come across. As an educator myself and the parent of four children across three different grade levels, we have had great success working with Cathy and many of her educators across a variety of subjects. Their breadth and depth is amazing and there hasn’t been a need that they haven’t been able to meet. All four of my children have received support across various subjects and grade levels and all have had growth, success and most importantly gained confidence in their skills. Cathy and her team have made a huge difference in our lives and there isn’t anyone else we would work with or anyone else I would recommend.”

“We are so grateful to have found Loving Literacy to help our three boys along on their academic journey! We have been working with multiple educators at LL over the years, with the boys having started as early as 7-years-old in 2009. Loving Literacy went above and beyond to care for our boys’ development as students and writers, increasing their curiosity and supporting their passion for reading and writing. An additional plus equipped them with an academic organization that allowed them to become top students. Thank GOODNESS for each educator’s loving, supportive patience, teaching our boys how to stay on schedule, and turn in their best work every time! This was no small feat! In short, our boys are well-prepared as they progress along their academic paths, thanks in large part to the efforts of the educators at Loving Literacy. We cannot recommend Cathy Jones and her team of educators highly enough.”

“My kids have been attending Loving Literacy for 11 years. They have been tutored there in many different subjects through the years: math, English, Spanish and science. Each of my three kids is different and their academic needs were met throughout lower, middle and upper school. The tutors have been encouraging and helpful, and my kids look forward to going there. We are very thankful that we found Loving Literacy and their role model educators who have so positively influenced my children. We highly recommend Loving Literacy for your child’s academic needs.”

“My three children have thrived in high school with the guidance of the Loving Literacy staff. Each of my children has very different learning styles, all of which were met successfully with the mastery of comprehending information. Not only do the educators adapt to your child’s needs, they care about your child inside and outside of the classroom, understanding that children are multifaceted. Lastly, they have phenomenal communication with parents. I cannot recommend the staff at Loving Literacy enough.”

“Having been at Loving Literacy for a little over ten years, I can most definitely say that it has shaped me into the student that I am today. I first started with Mrs. Jones as a little second grader, and I continued working with her weekly until my senior year. The impact she’s had on both my academic and personal life has been tremendous; her ability to guide students with such patience and care is something that I admire so much about her. Without her, I simply wouldn’t be the writer, and the person, that I am today. During my sophomore year, I began working with my math tutor, Anand, from Pre-Calculus Honors up until AP Calculus BC and AP Statistics as a senior. While Anand does expect his students to work hard and live up to their academic potential, he really enjoys working with us and is such a great mentor. I’m definitely going to miss Loving Literacy and it’s warm, welcoming environment, but it’ll always be there for me to pop in and spend time with familiar faces when I’m back home from college.”

Loving Literacy has made a tremendous impact on my education. Anand challenged us to strive towards concept mastery rather than simply becoming “better” at math. Furthermore, Anand was more than a tutor for my brother and me. He weaved laughter into a previously dreaded subject and provided a support system which we still use today. Learning becomes infinitely easier when you feel supported, encouraged, and heard. Loving Literacy and Anand gave us this special sort of place. I hope future students get to experience the magic of learning to love academia.

“Anand is an amazing tutor, he explained concepts in multiple ways to help me understand everything from Algebra II, Pre Calc, and Calc in high school to Multivariable Calc and stats in college. He’s super intelligent, patient, kind, accommodating, and has a great sense of humor as well!”

“The instruction provided to me by the staff at Loving Literacy has enabled me to confidently navigate the classroom, whether in an elementary, high school, or collegiate setting. Indeed, the instructors at Loving Literacy instilled within me a fervor for academic exploration, a zest for learning, and a passion for seeking an understanding of the world and the way in which it works. I could not possibly be more grateful for the phenomenal preparation that equipped me with the tools for life, both in and out of the classroom, which I received from Loving Literacy.”
